🐟Fish, Family and Forgiveness

I carry bittersweet memories of my mom preparing pickled fish, potato salad and fish cakes for the Holy weekend. Hot cross buns were stacked in the cupboard, alongside a box of Easter Eggs.

My mom was small in stature, with a heart bigger than all good deeds combined. She was a God-fearing woman. Feisty and filled with a zest for life and love.
Her smile could light up the universe.

To this day, I cannot comprehend how she carried the weight of strife on her shoulders, with such grace. Only by the Grace of God, no doubt.

Her words still echo loud and clear: "Forgive and forget."

My first blogpost is dedicated to you, mom.

Let us remember the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ.
By doing so, may your home be blessed by His grace and love, for all eternity.
May you and your loved ones break bread in celebration of our Risen Lord.
May His Holy name bring mercy and abundance of all that is good.

Stay safe, family and friends.

Love, CaliRose🌹.
